Senna Tribute

On a trip to Padova in Italy we discovered this. I instantly knew who that was and it was so strange to see it on the 31st year of his death. So yes this was taken on the 1st of May 2025. There was a bit of a question as to who they were from my Mrs, but I was 100% this was Ayrton Senna, no doubt about it.

His link with Padova as on the day of his death he was in Padova launching his branded mountain bike, though that’s not a huge link, but one nonetheless. Which is quite a feat since I would have expected that he might be a little busy on that specific day. However, what do I know about how these things work.

Either way Senna will always be a hero of mine, and I was listening to the race that day on the 1st of May 1994 and Imola. It’s now called the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, why, I have no idea. In fact I think it has been called a few things, but for now it’s Emilia-Romagna.
